Platform Addresses Risk’s Big Data Problem Head-On With New Symphony 5.1

Platform Computing last month launched version 5.1 of its Platform Symphony grid computing environment, aimed at meeting key performance optimisation, resource sharing and flexibility requirements of financial markets clients, particularly in the area of risk analytics. The grid specialist also announced a scaled-down version of its platform aimed at smaller financial markets players that heretofore haven’t been large enough to deploy the full-strength version of Symphony.
